Following a brief stint as a schoolteacher, Shannon transitioned into the dynamic realm of HR, driven by a passion for both business and people development. Early in her Human Resources tenure, Shannon led training and development teams eventually shifting focus to include more diverse functions in various industries including Telecommunications, Retail, Oil & Gas and IT. Shannon specializes in compensation, HR Program development, policy creation and revision, employee relations, performance management and leadership development.
A Certified Coach Practitioner, Shannon thrives on collaborating with individuals to catalyze their professional and personal growth journeys. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degree, Shannon obtained designations as both a CPHR and a SHRM-SCP. Shannon is recognized for blending analytical acumen with pragmatic solutions, leveraging a strong work ethic and a great sense of humour to drive impactful outcomes in every endeavor.
