Michele is an HR consultant specializing in the strategic management of employee development, including competency identification and assessment, employee development planning, and curriculum design and delivery. In her work, she exhibits a commitment to solutioning that is equitable, accessible, inclusive and recognizes diversity. Michele is continually fascinated by people and the work that they do and loves helping clients identify business problems and increase employee engagement through solutions that align people and organizations.
Her career and interests are varied, having worked in the public and private sector, in non-profit organizations, and across a range of industries. Her education has followed a varied path as well, with bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and English, and a Master of English degree from the University of Calgary, a PhD from Northeastern University, and an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business. Michele is an advocate of the 60-year curriculum, which recognizes that over our increasingly longer lifetimes, we are going to continue to learn and take on new challenges for decades of our lives. She enjoys helping individuals and organizations find ways to do this in responsive, inclusive, and effective ways.
