Inventory Analyst

AccessHR is excited to partner with TransCanada Turbines for the recruitment of a full-time, permanent Inventory Analyst. This is a newly created role, and the successful candidate will work out of the Airdrie location.

Position Summary

The Inventory Analyst will join a tenured and collaborative 8-member Production Support Team. Initially reporting to the Director, Production Support, you will also bring expertise in support of the multi-million-dollar annual procurement spend.

This newly created role collaborates with operations and procurement to deliver detailed inventory analysis, real-time reporting, and forecasts to senior leadership. You will analyze trends, monitor external factors, develop processes, and leverage tools to optimize forecasts, resolve issues, and support Health and Safety initiatives.

You will use the data to tell the story enabling the organization to accurately forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and coordinate supply chain efforts. Your efforts will ensure quality and compliance standards are met, costs are controlled, and risks associated with obsolete or slow-moving parts are identified and mitigated.

An in-depth understanding of complex technical operations, particularly in environments with long lead times and licensing agreements, is key to success.

Ultimately, we are seeking a thoughtful, meticulous, and respectful professional who listens carefully, takes an inquiry-based approach, and knows how to successfully collaborate across a very diverse group of internal departments. This is not an organization that values fiefdoms. We value old-fashioned teamwork and respectful collaboration where organizational success and individual development are the main measuring sticks.
