AccessHR is pleased to partner with Kindred Connections Society in the recruitment of a full-time Supervisor, Refugee & Immigrant Counselling in Schools.
About Kindred
Kindred was founded on the belief that all Calgarians deserve access to high quality, affordable counselling. 65 years later, that belief remains.
Kindred’s purpose is to realize the power of human connection, and it shapes everything we do. We provide road maps toward healing, and we understand that accessing timely mental health support can inspire confidence with self and others.
To support this purpose, our core values provide our moral code. These are the values we stand for, believe in, and won’t compromise on. Our values are not buzzwords. They serve as the guide for how we behave and interact with others, and how we make decisions together.
Kindred Values: Compassion | Courage | Excellence | Family | Humility
About the Role

You will monitor systems, processes, and protocols that support best practices, measure outcomes, and continuously evaluate and refine the program. You will also initiate and cultivate collaborative stakeholder partnerships.
What You Will Do
Clinical: Lead a team of graduate level counsellors providing trauma-informed, barrier free, systemically oriented clinical services to a specialized population of Immigrant and Refugee students and their families.
Program: Assist with program outcome measurement and evaluation and ensure adherence to ethical and best practice standards.
People: Work closely with Manager, People & Culture to recruit top performers, develop engagement strategies, and implement performance development practices.
Strategy: Provide input on strategic direction and be a culture keeper for our highly engaged and successful workplace. Participate on team and Kindred-wide leadership teams and committees. Represent Kindred in the community with a commitment to collaboration and partnerships.
