Classroom Champions is excited to partner with AccessHR for the recruitment of a full-time, permanent Head of Human Resources.
Position Description
The Head of Human Resources is crucial to maintaining and enhancing organizational culture throughout our upcoming high growth period. The entire organization wants to ensure that employees feel deeply supported and highly valued.
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Canadian Human Resource practices and the ability to collaborate effectively with a USA-based Human Resources consultant.
The Head of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive, engaging, and inclusive environment for a cross-border, fully remote team. This opportunity is well suited for a strategic HR professional who also loves to be hands-on. There are currently no direct reports but that may change as the organization moves forward.
A clear differentiator for this role is that the successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team at both tactical and strategic levels. Ultimately, Classroom Champions is seeking an approachable, transparent, “get-it-done” individual who listens carefully, takes an inquiry-based approach, and demonstrates high emotional intelligence.
