AccessHR is excited to partner with Crossroads Law for the recruitment of a full-time, permanent Manager, Human Resources & Administration. The successful candidate will be based out of Calgary and will visit the Vancouver office approximately 3 to 5 times per year.
Position Description
The Manager, Human Resources & Administration will join the operations leadership team and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The successful candidate will directly lead two receptionist/administrative employees and will also co-lead a 13-person legal support team.
One of the attractive features of this opportunity is the diversity of activities. You will collaborate with the leadership team at a strategic level, work hands-on to craft HR policies and programs, and also oversee day-to-day administrative operations at both locations.
This role provides a special opportunity for a high-energy, self-starting Human Resources professional eager to grow with a firm and elevate it to the next level. You will also have the chance to refine the Human Resources Strategic Plan and create impactful initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
Ultimately, we are seeking an empathetic, approachable, and mission-driven individual who is proactive and committed to delivering exceptional Human Resources and administrative services.

Strategic HR: Proactively uncover opportunities for improvement; develop and implement innovative and impactful programs and initiatives to support strategic priorities.
Qualifications
HR Generalist Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge and experience across all areas of Human Resources; a hands-on “doer” with an ability to also operate strategically.
Education and Experience
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
Assets
CPHR designation or working towards designation.
