Accounting Software Implementation & Support Consultant

AccessHR is excited to partner with Enrich Software for the recruitment of an Accounting Software Implementation & Support Consultant for their Customer Experience and Implementation Team. This is a full-time, permanent position and individuals have the choice to work 100% remotely from Canada or the USA or onsite at Enrich’s offices in downtown Calgary, Alberta.

 

Position Description

 

The Accounting Software Implementation & Support Consultant will join a truly collaborative team and provide the needs analysis, application configuration, training, and support required to deliver a stellar customer experience. This position will assist clients in the accounting and finance areas with full scale ERP deployments, including converting from existing software systems to Enrich.

 

This opportunity is well suited for a self-starter who thrives on connecting with customers, identifying business needs, solving complex issues, and building valued and trusted customer relationships. You will utilize your in-depth understanding of accounting principles and processes to provide ERP software client support with software implementation, data configuration, training, and support.

Key Deliverables

  • Consulting and Support: Provide consulting support for Enrich ERP software, focusing on accounting and finance, including software implementation, data configuration, training, and ongoing support; assist clients in transitioning from existing software systems to Enrich.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become an expert with Enrich financial software and the broader application product suite.
  • Customer Experience: Genuinely engage with clients to assess their needs, identify and resolve issues, and ensure clear communication and mutual understanding.
  • Training and Documentation: Facilitate online and on-site product training sessions, create end-user training materials, and assist the implementation team with enhancement requests, requirement reviews, and testing.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Work directly with clients and software developers to troubleshoot and promptly resolve software and business process issues. Provide solutions to clients and follow up to ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of all phases of the accounting process, from the initial recording of financial transactions to the preparation of financial statements and reports. Expertise with financial module ERP deployments.
  • Software Experience: Experience with modular, integrated software applications including accounting systems, development tools, truck rental or leasing systems, or fleet maintenance systems. Familiar with software configuration languages such as SQL.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Demonstrates active listening skills and clearly communicates with a diverse range of clients; takes initiative and is self-reliant, with the ability to know when to proactively seek help.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to probe and ask questions to get to the root cause of issues; uses sound judgment and coaching to influence and lead clients to best practices.
  • Adaptable and Versatile: Thrives in a client-centric environment where client issues immediately become the number one priority.
  • Project Management: Outstanding project and time management skills, essential for successful, on-schedule ERP implementations.
  • Independence: Enjoys working autonomously with limited supervision; appreciates the opportunity to take initiative and be flexible; also appreciates being part of a team!

 Education & Experience 

  • 5+ years’ experience in software implementation support with a focus on ERP implementation.
  • Preference given to applicants with an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Assets

  • Experience with accounting, truck rental or leasing, and/or fleet maintenance systems.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in consulting and/or project management.
  • Knowledge of fleet management and/or small to medium sized business operations.
  • Basic knowledge of IBM i-series, Java, HTML, SQL.
