Chris brings 15+ years of Human Resources experience across both public and private organizations and has developed deep expertise in human resources including recruitment, workforce development, and conflict resolution. She has held senior roles in talent acquisition, human resources business partnerships, Indigenous workforce development, Indigenous program development, and inclusive leadership.
Chris brings a strong strategic vision to her work, one that allows her to see the bigger picture while staying grounded in the practical details that help organizations move forward. She has designed and facilitated inclusive hiring and HR education for hundreds of leaders across Alberta and has conducted more than 4,000 job interviews throughout her career.
Having competed, travelled, and worked in more than 70 countries, Chris brings a global and culturally grounded perspective to everything she does. Her authentic style is focused on strengthening leadership capacity and organizational culture. She believes in sharing the knowledge she’s gained while continuing to learn and grow, and sees this exchange as the foundation of healthy, engaged workplaces.
Beyond her HR career, Chris is active in her community as a board member with the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery, a member of the Urban Indigenous Voices Society’s Employment Domain, and was recently a keynote speaker at the 2026 CommUnity Power of One conference in Red Deer.
